Before your appointment, you’ll receive a link to our comprehensive health questionnaire.
Completing it in full helps us dive right into what matters for you. If a field doesn’t apply, simply put “N/A”— the form won’t submit if it’s left blank.
If you’re booking a video consultation, please log in a few minutes early to check your device and ensure a calm, private space. The meeting link will arrive via text and email just before your appointment.
Yes, when it’s clinically appropriate. Some prescriptions require specific tests first. We’ll guide you through what’s needed: blood work, home monitoring, or a letter for your NHS GP. For safety, we respect that your NHS GP needs to be informed, and you must give permission for us to share your consultation and any medication recommendations. We cannot issue prescriptions without this consent.
Absolutely. We believe in continuity of care—not one‑off appointments. A follow‑up lets us check in on your progress, fine‑tune your plan, and support you through the journey. Without that ongoing connection, meaningful change is harder to achieve.
No hidden costs. We believe in transparency. All our fees are clearly listed on the pricing page. If you’d like a detailed breakdown of our blood test costs by email, we are happy to send that too.
Not at all. You can join your consultation via laptop, tablet or desktop computer. We’ll send clear instructions ahead of time, so you know exactly what to expect.
You can book your appointment [here]. If you encounter any difficulties online, just email us at info@shehealth.co.uk and we’ll assist you directly.
No - you can self refer directly to the clinic. If you are new here, booking a complimentary call is a great place to start.
If you have not been seen at the clinic within the last one year, we ask that you book a full new patient appointment.
This allows us to carry out an up-to-date assessment, review any changes in your health, and ensure your care remains safe, appropriate and tailored to your current needs.
No. You can choose a video consultation or attend in person at our clinic in Cheshire. You’ll find full details on the booking page.
Yes — in‑person consultations are available. Full details are on our bookings page.
Yes. We have disabled access at both of our clinics. If there is anything we can put in place to support your visit, please tell us during your first call so we can plan ahead.
It’s a necessary safety step to verify your identity. Without photo ID, we cannot proceed with a consultation.
Our medical insurance only covers patients living within the UK, so unfortunately we cannot accept bookings from abroad.
Yes — absolutely. You will stay registered with your NHS GP, and seeing us means adding on specialist private care, not replacing your GP. For prescriptions and continuity, we ask permission to share a summary of our consultation with your NHS doctor.
Please let us know at the time of booking. We will check costs in advance and will inform you if any additional charge is required for translation services.
Our clinic serves adults aged 18+ who are seeking expert, private women’s health care.
Yes — if we identify a need for further specialist input, we can provide a referral letter at no extra cost.
Some policies may cover specialist GP appointments — please check your insurance provider before booking.
Your private prescription will be sent from us to our pharmacy partner, who arranges home delivery, typically within 1-2 days.
While we strongly recommend sharing, it is only mandatory if you are prescribed medication by us that impacts ongoing care.
Yes, if your appointment results in a private prescription, a £25 prescription authorisation fee applies. This covers the clinical time and administrative processing of your prescription. You’ll be advised in advance if a prescription is needed and what the next steps are.
Alternatively, we can provide a complimentary letter of recommendation for you to take to your NHS GP.
- We start by listening. Every consultation begins with a conversation. We take time to understand your symptoms, your history, and the stage of life you are in before anything else.
- We join the dots. Women's health is rarely one thing. Hormones, nutrition, sleep, stress and medical history all intersect. We look at the full picture to understand what is really driving how you feel.
- We treat you as an individual. No two women are the same. Your care is tailored, thoughtful and specific to you, not based on a template or protocol.
- We combine medical expertise with lifestyle medicine. We use evidence-based medicine alongside practical, sustainable lifestyle support and holistic care to improve how you feel now and support your long-term health.
- We prioritise understanding and informed choice. We explain what is happening in your body, what your results mean, and the options available to you. This allows you to make informed decisions about your health with clarity.
Your records are held securely on a GDPR‑compliant platform (“Clinic You”) and we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office. You can review our full privacy policy [here].
Yes — please ask us and we will provide the steps to access your records.
Yes — your results are included with your appointment report. There is no separate charge for access.
We are committed to delivering safe, high-quality care and maintaining the highest professional standards. We view all complaints as an opportunity to learn and improve the care we provide. Learn more here.
